Atlantic Copper has announced the appointment of Marta Cerati as its new Director of Communications and ESG, replacing Esperanza Morillo, who is leaving the position after 17 years at the company.
She has a degree in Business Administration and Management from the prestigious Luiss Guido Carli University in Italy, and also has a master’s degree in Marketing Management from the same institution and a master’s degree in Digital Marketing and E-Commerce from the EAE Business School.
At the end of 2024, Marta Cerati was included on the list of the 100 Most Influential Women in Mining by Women in Mining UK, an honor that highlights her leadership, strategic vision and commitment to transforming the sector. This achievement comes in addition to her reputation as a reference in mining and industry, thus consolidating her profile as one of the most relevant women’s voices in the sector.
Cerati has held important positions such as Executive Manager of AMINER and General Secretary of the 5th edition of the Mining and Minerals Hall (MMH). She also worked in the marketing department of Ibys Technologies, Maxam, Metso and Rocha Blast Engineers, and in the leadership of the Marketing and Communication Committee of Women in Mining & Industry Spain. In addition, she led the business development of Beko Electronics Spain.
