Ignacio Fernández Zurita holds a Law degree from the University of Granada and a master’s degree in Human Resources Management from the prestigious College of Europe in Belgium. His academic training is complemented by solid professional experience on a national and international level, especially in labor law and collective bargaining.
He started his career in well-known law firms, such as Garrigues and Araoz & Rueda. Subsequently, he carried out much of his professional activity in the business organizations field, both in Spain and Belgium, particularly in the metallurgical sector, holding various institutional positions such as company representative in bipartite and tripartite agencies and committees, as well as being a mediator in the SIMA. In the public sector, he held the position of Managing Director of the State Foundation for Employment Training (FUNDAE).
Before joining Atlantic Copper, he was Director of Human Resources and Security at the aerospace company CESA / Héroux-Devtek.
Ignacio Fernández Zurita has been recognized on several occasions as one of the 40 most influential human resources managers of the year, according to RRHH Digital magazine.
