For more than half a century we have been producing high-purity refined copper. However, our work is not only limited to this metal, one of the first to be extracted by humans. We also produce sulfuric acid, a compound with innumerable applications; as well as anodic sludge, from which metals such as gold, silver, palladium or platinum can be extracted. Additionally, we offer other products such as iron silicate, nickel carbonate and gypsum.

Sulfuric acid
Sulfuric acid is one of the most widespread and versatile chemical compounds in the world, with a broad range of uses including fertilizer manufacture, metal purification, water treatment or car battery production, among others.
Precious metals
Anodic sludge is a byproduct of the copper electrorefining process, and contains precious metals such as gold, silver, palladium and platinum, among others. Once processed, this product becomes a valuable resource from which those essential metals can be recovered and reintegrated into the industrial value chain.
Others products
Iron silicate, nickel carbonate, gypsum and copper telluride are some of the products obtained from the metallurgical processes carried out in our smelter. These materials have a wide range of applications in society.
