Huelva, April 24, 2026. To mark World Day for Safety and Health at Work on April 28, Atlantic Copper is honoring several of its service partners for their outstanding commitment to safety and the environment throughout 2025 at the Huelva metallurgical complex.
This year’s awardees are Montajes Metálicos Huelva, ADS Sistemas Electrónicos, Alex Huelva, Jáuregui, Ingeniería y Servicios Industriales and Kaefer Servicios Industriales. This accolade highlights their performance in accident prevention and environmental management during their work at the industrial complex.
Carlos Ortiz, Senior Vice President, Metallurgy, at Atlantic Copper, emphasized that “safety and environmental protection are core values in our business, representing a commitment shared by all the company’s partners”. He added that “working together with our service partners is essential to our progress toward an industrial model that is increasingly safer, more efficient and more sustainable”.
Atlantic Copper maintains close ties with the local business community, relying on a broad network of partners in which approximately 60% are of local or national origin. The company ended 2025 with EUR 2.807 billion in revenues, consolidating its role as a driving industrial and economic force in Huelva and the surrounding area.
Carlos Ortiz noted that “Atlantic Copper’s activity would be unthinkable without support from other businesses in the area”. He also underscored the fact that “having a strong network of local and national vendors not only makes us more competitive, but it also contributes to Huelva’s industrial and social development, always based on the highest standards of safety and respect for the environment”.
Safety remains a constant in all of Atlantic Copper’s operations as it moves steadily toward the goal of zero accidents. Last year, no major accidents occurred in the course of the company’s operations, reflecting its firm commitment to prevention, continuous improvement and the protection of its workforce.
