Huelva, January 15, 2026. For the fifth year in a row, Atlantic Copper has once again been recognized as a Top Employer after successfully undergoing the Top Employers Institute’s stringent certification process, an international accolade that highlights the company’s excellence in terms of people management and talent development.
This year, the Huelva-based company joins a group of 145 Spanish businesses that have succeeded in passing this assessment, which involves a thorough analysis of key aspects of human resources policies, such as the people strategy, work environment, talent acquisition and retention, learning, wellbeing, and diversity and inclusion.
The Top Employers certification program distinguishes participating organizations that excel in people management, based on the findings of the HR Best Practices Survey, which measures how closely a company’s business strategy aligns with its human capital management.
For its part, Atlantic Copper has once again passed the assessment in the domains of People Strategy, Work Environment, Talent Acquisition, Learning, Wellbeing, and Diversity and Inclusion to achieve an overall score of 74%, steadily increasing its ranking each year since it was first awarded the seal in 2021.
The Top Employers Institute commended the company on its performance in the domains of Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives, Wellbeing Policies and Practices, Integrated Sustainability in Human Resources Processes, Strategic Workforce Planning, Community Involvement and Volunteering Programs and Social Impact Initiatives. Just eight manufacturing companies in Spain with a workforce of up to 1,000 people have earned this recognition, and Atlantic Copper is one of the select few.
Macarena Gutiérrez, the company’s Chief Executive Officer, welcomed the renewal of this certification, emphasizing that Atlantic Copper remains true to its strategy of growth and competitiveness, in which the people that make up the organization play a crucial role in its success: “We continue to learn and progress in key aspects such as competency development and promoting wellbeing in the workplace, fostering a professional setting in which everyone can grow and reach their full potential”.
Adrian Seligman, CEO of the Top Employers Institute, noted that “Atlantic Copper’s certification with the 2026 Top Employer Spain seal reflects the company’s dedication to creating an exceptional workplace that promotes sustained business performance. The consistent alignment of the organization’s people strategy and its goals, combined with its commitment to continuous improvement, shows the impact of its transformative practices.”
With this new recognition, Atlantic Copper reasserts its commitment to a people-centric management approach that drives policies geared toward attracting and developing talent and building loyalty in a safe, healthy professional environment aligned with the company’s values.
