Huelva, August 13, 2026. Atlantic Copper has reaffirmed and strengthened the commitment to Real Club Recreativo de Huelva undertaken last year, renewing its contract as the team’s main sponsor throughout the 2027/2028 season.
The company has chosen to renew this arrangement, originally set for two seasons and now extending to three, ahead of schedule as a sign of its support for the oldest football club in Spain and the city of Huelva, where Recre stands as an authentic icon. Therefore, the first team’s jerseys will continue to feature the Atlantic Copper logo during the next two seasons.
The deal involves a number of initiatives aimed at aligning Atlantic Copper’s brand with RC Recreativo de Huelva, featuring stadium and bus branding, as well as employee engagement activities. Atlantic Copper has sought to bolster its ties to Recre during its time in Segunda RFEF to demonstrate its support for the sporting values of effort, perseverance, teamwork, and passion for the city shared by both entities
Javier Targhetta, Chairman of the Board of Atlantic Copper, notes, “We are committed to Recreativo because of their attitude toward life, their passion, and local roots and culture, and we are proud to maintain this commitment not only for the upcoming season, but for the following one as well.”
“We are confident that extending our alliance with Recre will support the club’s medium-term strategic planning, with the certainty that we will stand alongside Spain’s oldest club not only in its pursuit of sporting success, but also as an example of those sporting values we champion,” highlights Macarena Gutiérrez, the company’s Chief Executive Officer.
The Chairman of Real Club Recreativo de Huelva, Adrián Fernández, in turn, emphasized the importance of partnerships with companies like Atlantic Cooper for Spain’s oldest club: “Walking hand in hand with Atlantic Copper on this journey is further proof that top-tier companies stand firmly with us. I am convinced that together, reaching our goals will be much easier. Thank you very much for your trust.”
