Jesús Hurtado holds a degree in Industrial Engineering, specializing in Industrial Organization, from the University of Seville, and has over 30 years of solid professional experience in the metallurgical sector. He completed his executive education with the General Management Program (PDG) at IESE in 2019.

He began his professional career at Cosentino (Almería) as Assistant to the Head of Operations at the Silestone plant. In 2000, he joined Atlantic Copper, where he has held a range of positions within the Operations area, including Director of Smelting and Acid Plant, Head of Converters and Anode Casting, and Process Metallurgist. Throughout his career, he has contributed to the development of a more competitive, responsible, and sustainable industry, aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and its commitment to Huelva and Andalusia.

Since July 1, 2026, Mr. Hurtado has held the position of Senior Vicepresident of Metallurgy.
