Patricia Moro holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the País Vasco University. She is a certified public accountant, and has completed the General Management Program at IESE.

After seven years of experience as an auditor, she began her career at Atlantic Copper in 1998, joining the Accounting department. In March 2005, she was appointed Director of Accounting and Taxes. She currently holds the position of SVP, Chief Financial Officer, from which she has expanded her responsibilities to include planning, control, and financial management of the company, as well as financing, treasury, insurance management, and relations with credit and insurance entities. Additionally, she plays a key role in general coordination with the financial department of Freeport-McMoRan in all its areas.
